The Young Artist Piano Seminar at the Cleveland Institute of Music is a week-long summer piano intensive offering advanced piano students ages 10 to 18 the opportunity to make great strides in the art of piano performance. The program is directed by CIM’s award-winning pianist and pedagogue Gerardo Teissonnière, and will include an internationally renowned artist faculty. This year’s special guest artists are Alexander Kobrin, Gold Medal winner of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and member of the piano faculty at the Eastman School of Music, and Ching-Yun Hu, artist and residence and piano faculty at Temple University.
